Local Matters

Since 1986, New Farm Neighbourhood Centre has provided connection and support for the local community. Our centre provides free brief intervention services to assist with health, housing and legal issues, as well as shower and laundry facilities.
Our Community Garden brings together people of various ages, backgrounds and experiences to relax and take time for mental health by gardening and watching their hard work grow. Money will be used to buy plants and fix old structures.
Brisbane State High School's Student Representative Council aims to provide support and strength to our students and raise funds for charities and other community causes. They are a passionate group of students, led by Year 11 and 12 students.
