This year, cash sponsorship will be used to provide water safety requirements for the event and to promote the 'CURRA kid' values of being caring, respectful and responsible on the day, with prizes for students who demonstrate these qualities during the event.
Students from Kawana Waters State College will volunteer teaching English in 4 rural school in Cambodia in June 2025. The donation will help purchase books and pencils for students in these poor village schools in Cambodia.
Mooloolaba Nippers U14 Cadet are raising funds to go to SRC Training Camp, to learn to become Life Savers so they can Patrol the beaches. The children will learn how to perform Ocean Rescues, how to do CPR and basic first Aid.
