
Summer Sunset Recipe
Dinner party of burger-for-one, this stack's loaded with the good stuff.
Ingredients
1 fresh bun, toasted
1 tbsp avocado, smashed
3 leaves cos lettuce
2 slices fresh tomato
3 thin slices red onion
1 pineapple slice, lightly toasted
1 slice shortcut bacon, grilled
1 heaped tbsp Tomato Relish
1 heaped tbsp Herbed Mayo
Method
Step 1
Heat a barbecue grill or chargrill on medium-high. Cook the patties for 3-4 mins each side or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate.
Step 2
Cook bacon on the grill for 2 mins each side or until lightly charred. Transfer to the plate with the patties. Lightly brush pineapple with oil and cook on the grill for 2 mins each side or until lightly caramelised.
Step 3
Lightly toast rolls. Spread bases with relish. Top with lettuce, tomato, onion, patties, bacon and pineapple. Spread tops with herbed mayonnaise and avocado and place on burgers.
